Handyman gloves are not affected by water, as leather gloves are.  They do not go hard or crack, they stay soft and supple.  As ther are no internal seams, as in leather gloves, there are not internal ridges to dig into your hands.  The gloves are breatheable and your hands will not get sweaty which will reduce the bacteria that can build up in conventional leather gloves. 

Handyman is suitable for all normal gardening and landscaping jobs (not thorn proof).
