COOLSKIN® Xtra Oven Gloves
Easily recognisable by it's unique colour, it does not absorb food stains and stays cleaner for longer; an important hygiene consideration.
This oven glove is proofed against steam, grease, and liquid spillage. This means that in a steamy atmosphere hot liquid vapour cannot penetrate the glove to scald the skin. Likewise grease cannot penetrate the glove through to the skin.
A unique modified PU inner membrane stops both of these. The new glove is made from not two, but three different layers, which, combined together, stop steam, grease, and liquids from making direct contact with your skin.
They are tested and certified by the same CE authority as the COOLSKIN® 375 and they have classified the temperature as a whopping 500°C. Your oven will rarely reach half of this temperature, so you may ask why you need this degree of protection? The answer is simple. It more than trebles the amount of time you can hold a hot item. Very heavy items can also be held for considerably longer. This means you can relax and not panic.
COOLSKIN® Xtra is ideal for use with all ovens and stoves from small microwaves to AGA range cookers, from sandwich toasters to bread makers. From putting logs into a wood burning stove, to handling a hot ash pan. From a barbeque to a camping stove. Use with a steam cooker or a steam wallpaper stripper. Whatever you do you can do it safely.
The COOLSKIN® Xtra can be machine washed but will take longer to dry due to the membrane restricting the flow of air within the glove. Because of this you should consider having a second pair so you are never unprotected.
COOLSKIN® Xtra is also a wonderful insulator against the cold, so it can be used to empty the deep freezer and handle blocks of ice without your skin coming into direct contact and "sticking" to the frozen surface.
COOLSKIN® Xtra heat resistant oven gloves are supplied as a pair, in one universal size that will fit anyone who normally takes between size 8 and 10 in gloves.
The label is printed with washing instructions, a telephone help number, the CE approval and the test batch production number to ensure consistent quality control.
Remember... if there is no test approval number, there is no test to support the product.
